He has special interest in laparoscopic surgery as his ambition is to promote laparoscopic surgeries to the remotest area of the city at minimal cost, so that poor people can be benefitted.
Dr.Manoj Sonkar is one of the best laparoscopic and minimal access surgeon in Kanpur performing many basic and advance laparoscopic surgeries. To his credit , he has performed more than 10,000 laparoscopic cholecystectomies and many other advance surgery like lap. Appendectomy, lap. Ovarian cystectomy, lap. Ovarian dermoid, TLH, Lap.Cystogastrostomy (Pancreatic Pseudocyst),lap TAPP hernioplasty, Lap.TEP Hernioplasty ,Lap Hemicolectomy , Lap .Nephrectomy, Lap abdominoperineal resection etc .
He has attended many conference at state level and national levels both.he is being examiner for various medical colleges.
